Why these tools exist

A bonus headline tells you very little about what it costs. "100% up to £100" can be cheap or expensive depending on the wagering requirement, which games count towards it, how many players actually finish, whether there is a max cashout, and how the market taxes gambling revenue. In the UK, for example, bonuses are not deductible from Remote Gaming Duty, so an operator pays duty on revenue it has already given back as bonus. The same offer can cost noticeably more in one market than in the next.

Most CRM and promotions teams work this out in spreadsheets that differ from person to person and drift out of date when a tax rate changes. These tools put the method in one place. Each calculator shows its formula and its assumptions, every tax rate shows the date it was last checked and links to its source, and results can be shared as a link, so a finance or compliance colleague sees exactly the numbers you saw.

The calculators run on the same cost engine and tax tables that BonusBench uses inside the product, where teams benchmark their offers against live competitor promotions and cost new ones in the Promo Builder. When the Promo Builder prices a draft offer, it uses the formula you can see and test here. Nothing is a black box, and our guides on bonus economics use the same engine for every worked example.

The tools are free to use, with no account. If they are useful, the product goes further: it tracks what operators in your markets are offering, how each offer changes over time, and how yours compares.
